Meet Your Instructor
Brett Cusack is an internationally successful musician and educator with nearly three decades experience in music, human behaviour and music education.
An accomplished teacher, producer, recording artist and entrepreneur, Brett loves guiding and inspiring musicians to create confidence through creativity and music.
Brett has shared stages with Shannon Noll, James Reyne, Vanessa Amorosi, Midnight Juggernaughts, the Potbellies and has studied under Australia’s leading musicians such as Brett Garsed (John Farnham) and Simon Patterson (Hey Hey, It’s Saturday) and world leading human behaviour specialist Dr. John Demartini.
Brett holds a Graduate Diploma of Education at the University of Melbourne, and a Bachelor’s Degree of Music Performance.
Throughout his years as an educator Brett identified the greatest challenges for music students is making the ‘not so fun, not so easy’ aspects of learning music engaging and fun through a flexible and adaptive student centered learning model.
Brett now dedicates his life to helping students understand their unique learning styles, tackle challenges and build self confidence through the amazing experience of learning music.

What skill level is this membership for?
Intermediate rock guitarists.
It is assumed that you have your own guitar, have had a go yourself on youtube, got some lessons and perhaps even tried some other online courses but can’t get to a level you're happy with to play your favourite songs.
How long do I have access for?
You'll get instant access once you join the membership.
Ongoing access whilst you're up to date with your monthly membership.
How long until I'll see progress?
Those that make fast progress are practicing a minimum of 30 - 60 minutes everyday.
The more you pick up your guitar and practice the repetitive things the faster you'll progress. We love the fundamentals around here!
When does it start?
You'll get access to the group within 24 hours of signing up.
Lessons run three times a week, 48 weeks a year (2 weeks break mid year and Christmas).
What are the lesson details?
Live lessons are 7.30pm AEST (QLD time) Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Lessons run for 48 weeks of the year - we have a two week break mid year and a two week break over Christmas. This is designed to ensure you're picking up your guitar consistently over a year to make the most amount of progress.
Lessons are run via Zoom.
Lessons run for approximately one hour of teaching and live breakout / hang out rooms post session.
Where do I access the community?
Our community is on Facebook where you'll have access to Feedback Friday's, different group chats, live lesson replays and community support.
Mindset content and support will be accessible within our course portal, which you'll get access to.
How is this better than 1 to 1 lessons?
1 to 1 lessons are helpful, but from what I've seen they sometimes lack structure.
You're also stuck with the skill level of your teacher and the style of music they teach.
Usually you can only afford one 30-60 minute lesson per week, which just isn't enough to progress fast.
You don't have the community of like minded people to practice with and learn from.
Our membership is designed specifically for our niche - intermediate rock guitarists, who all have similar interests and goals.
Can I learn this all on YouTube?
Sure can!
But it won’t be in a step by step structured way with specific tailored feedback to where you are on your journey. Plus you'll miss out on the great connections you'll make jamming with friends.
Do I need any equipment before starting?
You’ll need a guitar (acoustic or electric).
Reasonable tech knowledge - understanding of zoom, facebook groups and be able to record and upload videos of yourself playing.
How much does the membership cost?
